Up for sale is a running Hudson 262 6-cylander engine and 3-speed manual transmission. This engine ran and was driven regularly when my brother pulled it from his '49 a few months ago to install a V8. Comes with everything pictured. Markings indicate aprofessional rebuild at some point, but there is no paperwork. Car has 90K miles total and this is the original engine. The distributor gears are worn, which causes timing play. Sold as-is. Included is the original 3-speed manual and Hudson’s hydraulic clutch (aka “wet clutch”). The wet clutch works fine but leaks and needs a reseal. Like the engine, the transmission is "as-is," but worked when pulled. $300 for everything. It’s on a pallet at my brother’s commercial shop in Seattle, ready for pickup.
