Help identify this please... Is this a Hudson 308?

So, I'm picking this engine up from a friend of mine...traded a truck for it. It's supposed to be a Hudson 308 Twin-H, but I got pics today, and now I'm confused. He says that it has 308 stamped in the block, it definately has the two carter 1v carbs and air filters from the twin-H, but there are 10 ports on the side of the block....and I thought Hudsons had 12...and it looks like the fuel pump is in the wrong spot. Am I missing something?
    Thanks,
    Kamp

Found it.... 202 Hudson Jet engine. Anybody know of parts out there for these? Or should I just leave it where it sits? I can't find much....

    Kamp -

It's an *okay* motor; the Jets did have a Twin H option, but there are no speedparts for it that I know of. they made about 90 HP if I recall right.

I'd leave it where it is.

Kamp - You are right, it is the Hudson 202 ci of 1953 thru 1956. This engine producted 104 HP in standard form, 106 HP with the HC aluminum head, and 114 HP with the HC head & Twin-H-Power. Theres not a smoother six cylinder flat head engine around than this one, but true, I don't know of any aftermarket HP equipment that is available for it. It is deffinately not a Hudson 308 ci Hornet engine.

    Leave it... find a 308.

  8. Depends what you want to do with it. It would be a cool motor for a lightweight bucket or roadster.

Thanks everybody. I still haven't decided if I'll take it or not, but that gives me something to think about.
