Customs Hudson Hrrnet motor swap

    I'm having my Hudson 308 inline six rebuilt and in the meantime I'm looking for a motor that will fit. My brother has a Clifford products built Ford 200 inline six that I'm wondering if it will clear the steering mechanism of the Hudson. I've read in previous posts that guys have had success dropping in the Ford 300 inline six, would this 200 have a similarly configured oil pan-

    Nothing interchanges between a 200 and 300 Ford 6. I doubt either would be worth the effort for a temp install in a Hudson.

    Unless you're having a serious parts problem it would seem a lot more straightforward just to complete the rebuild and re install the 308.

    Has the rebuilder given a timeframe indication? I suppose xmas will hold things up.

    Pan sump is sorta in the middle, pics would show diff.
