I don't know. Look for Pan America road race Hudsons - they may have kept a short visor. Don't forget to turn the antenna down over a 100 or it'll vibrate
Wouldn't it be GREAT to go back and try to replicate at least a partial field of a NASCAR race between '51 and '54? Find some decent county fair dirt track, and for, say, 15-20 laps, lets the Rocket 88s, Caddy 331s, Chrysler 331s, Mercs, Lincolns, Studes, etc., etc. just go at it (NO BUMPING, NO RUBBING!) ???
Sure, I see the purists' point about the visor not being correct. I think it's keen, but if ya wanna try & duplicate a Teague, Thomas or Flock Hornet, I suppose you'd HAVE to strip that baby down to racing trim!!!
my wife has had 5 hudsons that I know of (before we were married) and she scares me what she knows about them. One day when the kids are off to college were gunna have ourselves a hudson drop top to cruise in
Sounds like a great idea, as you may have seen in an earlier comment we have a Pan Americarna 53 Chrysler just up the road here in New Zealand so I guess thats a start and remember what they say rubbin's racin!
Found this on the soccer field at one of my kids games. It's been rolling back and forth on the dash of my truck for about a month now.
SasRod, when my daughter worked at McDonald's, she tried to get me one of those, unsuccessfully. If you don't want it, I'd be happy to send you a reasonable price for it!
