Anyone out there hopped one of these up? I know Clifford Performance still makes some stuff for the 308 but does anyone know about trans adapters & trannys anything oddball would be cool.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Also info on rebuild performance enhancements if anyone knows (i.e. porting, Headers, etc.

There are a few Hudson hop-up websites that talk about the old racing Hornets. Back when I had my 52 I was told that not much could really be done to the motors to get a real hp gain.
Not that Im telling you not to put it in your hotrod, but you might actually have to add leaf springs to the front end....Its probably one of the heaviest 6s arround!! Good luck

6. There's alot you can do with a 308 motor. They're pretty stout if built correctly. Later 308'S (53 AND 54) came with hydromatics...

I'm hoping to run a 308 7x with a slant pan hydro and a hydrostick in my 32 Ford sedan...

Wasn't the 7X engine good for around 300hp?

9. You might want to PM Hudsonator. I dont know if he's a member here, but if not you'll get him at OSR forum. He's a very knowledgable Hudson nut.

10. That classic car Hudson board is the most active and there were a couple recent posts on what you can do to really trick out a Hudson 308. Be neat to see one in an early hoodless rod -
