Huge Magazine Collection

I have a collection of automotive themed magazines that include Domestic & Foreign brands, Trucks, Motorcycles, Antique, Vintage, Custom, Hot Rods, etc. There are over 40,000 issues ranging back to the 1940's. My friends and I proposed building a library on line for people to have access to information about the automotive industry and other relevant topics pertaining to Hot Rods (mainly) and cars in general. The project started off with the acquisition of several local collectors inventories and many smller purchases. It grew to it's current state of approximately 40,000 magazines. Of the members of the group owned a digitizing reproduction company and he volunteered to scan the collection and collate the information. Unfortunately, he sold the business before any scanning could begin and since then the project has stalled. I have been warehousing the magazines forseveral years and now I am too old to be able to proceed. These magazines would be a great contribution to anyone who archives this type of information or just likes magazines (LOTS of magazines). Email me for a list of ***les and more information.
