That sounds like you weren't racing, that's why he mentioned the show. You're welcome to race it.

It looks like the van isn't going to make it. It's all wired and only a few piddly things to do, but I have the wrong starter and no time to get it all done. :( I'll be there in my low n slow Bel Air! :D but it probably won't pass tech with broken side windows. :(

dynamic88- Thats awesome. And at the risk of sounding cheezy, I'd be honored to go heads up with one of the Czars boys at the heads up!!!

Yea my wife said the same thing. What I should have said > I'll be cruzing down the track lo-n-slo!!!:p

I don't think you have to be at the driver's meeting if you're only racing a minibike, but I'll double-check. You will definitely be on the track... but not the full length obviously. I think you will be tech'd but I think it's pretty simple. I know you'll need a helmet, but I forget the rest. I'll post it later today.

    From our website:

    1. Long pants
    2. Close toed shoes
    3. A jacket
    4. Close fingered gloves

I'm sure you'll be required to wear a helmet, and have working brakes, too, but I don't think there will be much "tech" for a minibike.

  8. Damn! Wish I could bring the H-Bomb!!!! Maybe I'll just bring the slot car instead.

We have a group of vintage motorcylists coming from Milwaukee.
Can we race Motorcycles? Do they have to be Pre-1964? I have read the motorcycle requirements, I'm amazed they did not require Snell approved Helmets.

Yes, you can race bikes pretty much all day, but you'll probably be up against cars. We'll run bikes and minibike only from 12-1. We weren't expecting many bikes, but if we get enough of them, we might be able to squeeze in a special class.

Pileup rules aren't entirely in effect for the race since it's mainly about fun, but you can use them as a guideline for what can run... '78 and earlier bobbers, cafe racers, etc... stock will probably be ok.

Cool, definitely grab someone and say Hi. The Czars will be in Maroon as usual and there will be a HAMB meet & greet. Look up that thread and find out what time. You'll meet a lot of people.

BrewCIty - While we've all had a small hand in it, Chrome Czars Jester (Steve) and HotRodChassis (Kevin) are the main ones setting up this event. If you see them, thank them!
