That smily face with the light bulb about sums it up I think. Every trick in the book has been done with a sbc, and if it was really an improvement everyone would do it. The side carbs and front distributor are pretty trick, but the pipes arn't the best looking thing.

I'm still beat, but I just wanted to hop on here quickly and thank everyone that came. I've never seen so many *****in cars in one place. Special thanks to all the hard working volunteers to helped us make it possible. The four of us can only do so much... THANK YOU. Thanks to our significant others who were in the trenches with us.

Friday was a blast. It was awesome that Tyler drove up and made Rashy come with him. Good to meet you in person Rashy.

Bobbleed is the new Breck girl. Ask Plowboy how it feels to be a celebrity.

That reverse flow motor makes my head spin.

I was bummed we missed the HAMB meet and greet.

My Dad and uncle got to meet some of my friends that I always talk about, from the internet and real life. That's cool.

I went to the Morris Lion's Club show today. Lots of really nice cars, but it was everything the Pileup rebeled against. I am proud of our "little" show.

If I understand what is being said, the engine runs in reverse rotation (normally, it'd turn clockwise while looking at it from the front. This one would now run counterclockwise) and obviously the exhaust ports are now intake ports, and vice-versa.

These same tricks used to be done to flatties on oval and round tracks. Flatties have 3 exhaust ports per side, and four intake ports. Racers found that the siamesed exhaust ports worked fine as intake ports, and having 4 exhaust ports per side helped the engine breathe immensely.

Spinning it in the opposite direction loaded the ch***is to add grip in the corners, rather than the clockwise direction's knack of turning the ch***is "away" from the turn.

If I remember right, Edelbrock's roadster had the reverse rotation trick before anyone else, due to the intelligence of Bobby Meeks. Old Vic also ran nitro before anyone else. Lots of trickery beyond his intakes and heads...

    Scotch!~

Just wanted to say thanx to the Chrome Czars for putting on a great show. This was my first time down and I won't be missing this show again. Got there a bit late cuz of some problems...it won't be an issue next year...still had a killer time...and the corn dogs were totally worth the wait!

Dustin, we failed to "disperse" after the law came. Ha Ha Ha. It was good to meet you and your friends. Next year bring your buddy's A.

We had a nice "Meating" there in the Comfort Inn parking lot. Damn it was cold though.

Maybe in 6 months the "demon" chick will come back around when she finishes he internship and becomes a "devil".

i was trying to figure this one out, and the only thing i can figure (only cuz i never seen anything like it) is that it must be running on methanol to keep it cool since theres no radiator. the reverse flow is kinda cool does anyone know if this thing ran? im just wondering if it actually works!

DUDE.....the barn find hotrod with the Kinmonts...flathead...etc....OH MY GOD
that is one of the neatest things I've seen pics of on the Hamb ever.
Can you imagine what you'd do if YOU were the lucky guy who found that???

  26. Speaking of "barn finds", this flathead powered F/MP car was something to behold. For sale at $10k.

Had a great time! Wish Sundays weather was Saturdays but oh well. I saw more qaulity, creativity, and raw old school projects than at any other event I have ever attended. Thanks again for another great year!!!

it is NOT a barn find. someone put it together to make it look like it was a barn find. it fooled me at first too. till i heard the REAL story. i shoulda figured it was one of those "too good to be true" kinda deals.
