Hunnert Car PileUp Meet & Greet Info

Well it's about that time again and if next weekend is anything like this weekend we are in for a treat weatherwise. It was in the 90's here in Detroit today and just as high tomorrow.

Anyway, after discussing with a couple of Chrome Czars we've decided the best time for the HAMB Meet & Greet is 2pm and it's going to be in the same location as in the past.....the grassy area just south of the front gate.

Look at the "e" in the words "front gate" on the map. The "e" is kinda on that little building. That little building sits on a nice expanse of grass that no cars are allowed to park on so it's PERFECT for the Meet & Greet.

I'll hang a HUGE banner on that fence located there in the morning so the spot will be REAL easy to find.....except for those that might get lost in their own back yards.

I'll also have some silver sharpies hanging on the fence for those that didn't sign this banner last year. (It''s the same banner from last year)

I'd also like to ask a favor of someone local who is coming in a daily driver pick up truck or SUV. Could someone please bring a large ladder. If we can get one it would make seeing everyone in the group shot alot easier. There were a TON of folks in the picture from last year but you really can't see half of them. AND we're going to take the photo in the sunshine this year

OK, so who's planning on attending the M&G so we can plan the baked goods and other stuff accordingly?

Things are falling in place so I'm fairly sure to make it. Lucky 777 and Lucky's Gal have made tempting offers but I'm just not that sure of riding in their trunk with the seams all duct taped. Could they be trying to tell me something?

Ditto for me. I'm flying in from AZ & attending as spectator. Nothing to show a this time. Still looking for first class Hot Rod...

 

Haha, you can have the trunk on the way there. Besides, it's nice and dark so it's a good spot for a nap. However, if I find something at the swap meet we might have to tie you to the roof on the way home.

 

I'll be there and for kicks I'll be dragin 2 newbees and G Man with me...If you were at Rust Revival you'll remember G Man...14yo with a knack for paintin stripes..

 

Not if we bring the trailer!! We can put one of the ladders from the shop in the trailer along with Helen. That way you can bring the '40 and get in. We just need to find a tow vehicle.

 

Oh, and Django and I will be there. mmmmm, baked goods.
