Pileup Updates:

The Pileup Drag Race we were trying to set up for Pileup Sunday has been officially called off. The Race track that invited us has now decided that it's not worth the trouble. Thanks guys. So, we're working on trying to do something like it next year... at a different track. We'll see.

The Goldstars cancelled, but I'm working on a replacement

 

I'll bring my '75 Monte Carlo too...

 

It'll be 2245 and people will be backed up for miles in their flying cars swearing about all the construction.

 

Is it October yet??? Anyone from the Milwaukee Wi area plan on driving down? I'd like to meet up for the drive with some one...

after you're done with the donkey we'll find something else for you to do, if you're not too tired. We need people to help take money at the gate (pedestrians and cars), sell shirts, etc. We're working out a list now

That was no "dude" it was one of the Voodoo Kings, who built his car with Cyclebilly in 29 days.
I talked him into spinning his tires around the horse track for a photo shoot.
He almost got into a fight with some guy who jump over the vence, cause he got some of the dirt on his 1/4 mile drag car.
I still kid him about it, evertime I go to the Woodfire Chicken.

FYI, no burnouts or flamethrowing in the parking area. To dangerous with people and kids milling about... and all the pretty paint jobs.

 

What about the speedway track are they going to let anybody on it this year???

 

nope. The insurance just to let folks walk on to the track is more than double what we're paying for the whole event
