Event Coverage Hunnert Pileup motel rooms

For what it's worth. Those of you coming from the west. There are still 10 rooms available at the Super 8 motel in Ottawa, since those in Morris are already filled. 815-434-2888 or 800-800-8000.

I've stayed there several times in the past, while attending the Pileup. Only 12 miles to Morris. Good clean rooms. Tell Joyce I sent ya, she works the front desk. Good lady.

I'll probably be going east on Tuesday or Wednesday. (Just in case I get lost along the way.) Fill up in Podunk, Gas stop in Co Bluffs, gas stop in Creston, gas stop in Oskaloosa, gas stop in Fairfield, gas stop in Burlington, Gas stop in Galesburg, gas stop in Ottawa, Whew!!!! I need to eat more beans and hard boiled eggs

Seriously, I'll be going to Galesburg for a few days first. Stop at my two sisters that still live there. Go see some of the old haunts, then head on up on Friday around 10 or 11.
