This show is really elitist. You even have to go through a tech where they tell you if you allowed to participate or not. LOL

Shut up and race or go home and put your Nancy-girl dress on.

I built my 57 Pontiac just for this show. Only my 2nd year and had the best time ever at both locations.
    Can't wait till next year!!

I saw those wheels... several years ago I got the idea that those Buick wheels would be perfect with the centers blasted and painted gray, and they'd look like Halibrands. (Even made a tech tip out of it for Super Rod).
Your car is the first I've seen someone running those, and they look GREAT.
To the point where I showed my 15 year old son, explained it all to him, showed him the stockers on that Buick Electra that was there, and then showed him the ones on that green Stude thing up front.

    Well done!

I made the hike up to the show for my 7th year now and I had a blast with both the ride and the show. My ride wasn't to bad seeing as I only drove up from Chicago and my little flatheaded shoebox purred like a kitten the whole way. I think its really sad that people are crying about a show especially since like mentioned earlier that most of the complainers weren't even there I mean really just shut up if you didn't have the balls to drive down and check it out and form a real opinion for yourself. I was really pleased to see the rules tightened up a bit it brought back the feel of the early pileups. The only thing I thought the show lacked was the feel of Grundy but what are ya gonna do it just outgrew the space of grundy. This show was a blast I will defiantly make the hike up there again hopefully you all could fill up some more of the loads of room in the new grounds I still cant get over the size of that place. And once again to all the complainers get in your oh so bad ass ride we all need to see and come down and have a good time then form your opinion. Pileup 2010 was a blast the longer ride this year made it even better for me. Great job see yous all next year.

Hey I had a great time & I can handle a little drama very well at 60. Don't give a shit much anymore about rules = just go with the flow. We lined up at 9 in the staging area & parked on the grounds at 11:20. Guess I'm spoiled about the thing. When your 60 & you walk into a bar the bar tender gives you whatever you want to drink.

  7. I was there and had a great time. Volunteered and didn't even get bitched at. It was all good.

Here's a thought, How many guys who had their cars not qualify would volunteer for lot duty to help segregate the non qualifiers from the general transportation cars. If the Czara would consider this I would be interested in volunteering some of my Hunnert time to helping with this. If you have a sore spot be helpful, consider solutions. Let's ask the Czars and see if they are accepting of this. Now we need a show of hands to show some commitment.
