My buddy Howard is thinning out his heard of cool stuff... VERY RARE Hurst Hydrogate Shifter. The only really good dual range Hydromatic shifter made, far superior to B&M or Ansen's offerings, The story goes that 18 were made, and didn't see actual production due to the fact that by '64-'65 when they were made, hydros were becoming obsolete in drag racing. The shifters were given to various race teams, S&S being one. My shifter is used I had it in my '49 Olds for a while on a B&M hydro.
