Technical Hurst Ramrod Shift boot

I used the search function and did not come up with much on this. I am looking for some guidance on installing the shift boot on a Hurst ramrod shifter. Does anyone have an original set of instructions? I do not have any experience taking a ramrod apart and I would assume by looking at it that boot installation requires some dis-assembly. Any help is appreciated, I do not want to screw up my shifter. I have included a photo of the car I am working on, I know everyone loves photo.......
