Kool Kart... [ QUOTE ] here's the shift knob - push and pull only [/ QUOTE ] I'm using a lawnmower choke cable fastened underneath my Ford with cableclamps. Fordomatic tranny seems to work ok with a push-pull configuration.
SHow some pics of how you attached the lexan-- I've got a rusty old vw camper I'm gonna be driving soon, and the camper top is shot...looking for cheap options on covering the hole in the top.
tranny is a simple 904 out of a dodge, but it works fine with the cable only ---- here are more pics from the whole car
BC, Any transmission can be shifted by push-pull. That's what a cable shifter does and they are available for just about any trasnsmission that's been made. Most all of the drag race floor mounted shifters are cable operated. Just a matter of mounting a lever to the end of the cable but the end result is still push-pull. Frank
THat's just plain NEET! How about a roll-up split bamboo curtain in tracks inside the Lexan roof? (tracks like in "new" cars with sunroofs but you make them out of bamboo?)
Your car's the dog's bollocks. You must be the King of the World driving that beaut in your neck of the woods. Hats off to ya.
