I am planing to to get a system into my 51 Chevy truck. Anyone has experience with one product over another? I am planing to use a universal system from Cl***ic Performance Products.
I was just thinking this morning about running pretty much the same system on my 48. I had a hydroboost on my 78 Chevy one ton 4x4 a few years ago and loved the feel of the brakes with it. Almost all diesel powered pickups have a form of that setup on them except the ones that have a vacuum pump on the engine. You do have to run a power steering pump to make it work but that isn't a big deal.
