Hello I have a steel chevy bell housing# GM11 3925505 I need a hydraulic clutch slave bracket for my slave cylinder... the aluminum brackets don't work as the bolt holes will not line up Does anyone have a bracket or can u point me to bracket that will work for this make bellhousing...I don't need the whole kit..just the bracket Thanks for the help!
Try Novac conversions, they have some nice hydraulic clutch parts but I'm not sure it will work with your existing slave because you didn't post any pics. Also make sure your bellhousing has the correct input register size for the trans you are using as some truck housings have a bigger register size than passenger car transmissions .
If you can locate a 60-62 chevy 1/2 ton V8 bell , they have a factory hyd. clutch set up with the fork on the passenger side that work very well on cars with space limitations.
Here's a couple of examples from the Hamb, from 2018... Hot Rods - Chevy slave cylinder mount | The H.A.M.B. (jalopyjournal.com)
I used one of these on a 40 chevy coupe with hyd. clutch. It was a push, not pull, type. Used an S10 slave, homemade rod and bracket (sorry, no pix). Advice: used grade 8 for rod if you have one, and the bracket should be no less than 3/8" and bolted super firm. Huge pressure on these components.
