Projects Hydraulic Shocks

    Working on a 1931 chevy coupe,
    Do the stock front hydraulic shocks work well on a hotrod. I plan on driving the hell out of the car when I get it on the road.
    I'm at the point do I spend the cash on rebuilding the stockers or set up newer style shock obsorbers. Cheers

    For pure function in a "drive-the -hell-out-of-it" car it would be way cheaper and better to go with modern airplane/tube shocks rather than the old lever-arm hydraulics which are quite pricey to rebuild.
