Has anyone ever used, or know of a hydraulic throwout bearing that will work with a 39 Zephyr trans? Thanks for any and all input fellas! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
First measure the diameter of the tube the throw out bearing rides on. Then find a hydraulic release throw out bearing from speedway in lincoln. Then have the tube machined down to fit the bearing. I'm talking about racing parts now. Call speedway and tell them what you want to do
Mcleod clutches make them to....You might check with them...Used them on my 34 Ford with a Dodge 4 gear ******...
Wouldn't you rather use an external cylinder so you aren't burying your potential leaks inside the bellhousing?
Oh but Alchemy, the internal ones are much more fun when they need servicing! Add sarcastic roll eyes and made up tag #neveragain
Not mine....just researching options for a customer that’s got space issues and previous work from someone else.... I’m trying to convince him to go with the F1 crossmember and pedal ***embly, but he doesn’t want to cut out the crossmember someone else installed.... Personally, if I have to, I’d prefer the external.....but it’s his call..... Thanks for everyone’s input! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
