I have a Oldsmobile hydro Matic. Trying to figure out more about it. I have a 54 Oldsmobile engine with a manual transmission behind it. But I might have some interest in running the hydro. Thanks for the info. Scott Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Best I can do, the numbers on Hyrdo in my 46 Olds (#907) matched the OEM range and was close to my frame (#713 and engine number (#733). 050 could be Oldsmobile '8' origins with serial however my book stops at 1949 so I don't have 1950 serial numbers however Dr. Google provided these serial ranges:- 508M1001 to 508M114848, 508A1001 to 508A20617, 508B1001 to 508B20092, 508K1001 to 508K40988, 508L1001 to 508L26001, 508C1001 to 508C25800 and 508W1001 to 508W26826 Models 76, 88 and 98 were produced; serial on yours could identify series and plant.
I recently picked up a 54’ GMC. Wanting to put a hydro back in it but can find the bellhousing adapter for a GMC straight six. Would you happen to have one?
