A friend of mine had to drive up to fordnutz (golden oldies tin) to pick up his Model T coupe (which is very nice...pics to follow) and on the drive up were were discussing that i could be intrested in something if he had time and room....well he arrived at Pats and called saying he was bringing 2 A sedans home as well.... So i ended up adopting another A! My time is scarce but the way i see it is .... when i get time i may not find one that mother nature or the crushers havent claimed! The subframe is sketchy but Pat and Glen managed to cut the subframe and front lower cowl pieces off to aid with this one.... The beauty is the damn doors work like new!!! Holy Fak!! I'm sure that some will think i'm nutz to take on something i may be a while getting at...but TOUGH, it nice and warm in its new home. Cars from the 20's and 30's are not that easy to find out here...so when the chance to bring home something else to crowd up the garage came up... i just had to. Thanks Glen and Pat..
We hope to be adopting our first Model A this weekend. It's already a driver thought so I'll get to enjoy it this summer, but I wont have the fun of the build-up that you will. There's nothing quit like sitting in your garage looking at a shell and dreaming up all the cool things you're gonna do. Congrats and happy building.
That's what those long cold winters are for, they make you stay inside building hot rods! The last Model A Tudor build you took part in, was very special to us all, so I'm sure many of us, will help encourage you along the way, with this one too.
