1941 Chevy special deluxe, all original, paint (?) interior and motor. It's like a time capsule. Here is the stuff I found in the glove... I dig the milage rations....

Now I am just scouring the interwebs for all the old cool accessories like the compass, passing light, fulton traffic viewer, GM tissue dispenser.. I have always loved Bombas, so this is my way of having a pre-war lowrider and dressing it up with all the period junk....Thanks all

Zax, we settled betwixt SAV and Brunswick (Coastal GA). The hardest part was selling my collection for the move. 11 cars, 5 bikes. (Damn, I miss my '66 Lincolns the most) But I sold them all in two weeks.

I am more of a Hot Rodder , than a custom car person, but that car has the LOOK , I f someone doesn't like that car they aint a car person, Nice !

I see you have a nice tow rig in the background of some of your pics. Consider towing, or even better driving it up for the Moonshine Festival car show. It's the biggest turn out for HAMB type cars in GA.

With blocks that big, how much room do you have between the frame and axle? do you have helper shocks?
I tried 4" on mine and it hit all the time. Had to go back to 3".

Yeah, prolly should have gone with 4". My exhaust comes up over the axle and hits. Might use some flex pipe to see if that will work...Ghetto, but I like 'em low...

Thanks man!!! I miss Oz. What a great place. Old log I kinda half assed restored, scored it in my travels in Japan...it was in the trash with the nose ripped off.. That board has been thru hell, but I think I got it square..

It is nice to be back. I am into exotic vintage race cars (still am) and Brit cars for a minute, but after much therapy, I am back!!! Appreciate all the kind words. And I have to say, that merc is the nastiest one I think I have ever seen, so right!!

 

This is a Lowrider not a custom car, nothing has been customized on it.
