Hey I love your wagon! I have a 61 2-door ranch wagon, and it has the same patina as yours! Bought it with no eng. or trans. I have a rare 406 FE and a c6 trans for it. I will put power brakes, power steering and A/C. Also I will put in a 2.75 rear gear for a freeway flyer. It won't get great milage but thats ok. I was in the middle of a 32 ford roadster build when my friend called me and said this wagon has to go! I told him to call me if he ever wanted to sell his 61 ranch. I am almost done with the 32 and its for sale, cuz I cannot wait to start on the wagon!! Good luck with your build! PM me for pics.

65notch, your 2dr wagon is the car I have been hunting for 15 years...they are impossible to find and if you ever want to sell it let me know. Your car appears to be a lot nicer than mine as well. Sounds like you are headed in the right direction...rare car gets rare engine....too cool. I have yet to make a decision as far as drive train for mine...I have been sidetracked with the return of my 64...I hope to start making some progress real soon on the wagon...I would love to see some more pics of yours...Not sure if you are aware of it but the 2dr and the 4dr wagons have the same frame and are the same overall length....the doors on the 2dr are longer than the 4dr's...Just some useless info...feel free to post some pics of yours...

  3. Hope you kept the skirts, they would look great on the wagon.

Here are some pictures of my 2-door, it's a cherry one, and has zero rust! very happy about that! also had some drawings of what I think I want to do with it. Yes it is a rare one, I could'nt find any for sale.

These are rare...never realized. I just found one I am working a deal on, and can hardly find any pictures of 1960-61s. Any version.

This one's been in CA since new...Nice guy has it, made me a $deal...just slow going.

I'm looking at 67 Country Squire. Would like to put a 5.0 from a 2012 F150 with the 6 speed AOD. I have a 2012 F150 and it has mucho power so in a wagon I think it would be great.
