I bought it, now what

Sorry, it's not a car.

At our awards banquet for a Karting club I'm a part of, we have a silent auction where the procedes go into a scholarship fund for the advancement of kids wanting to further their automotive related education.

Tonight I bought a NASCAR Goodyear Eagle tire signed by The King, Richard Petty.

My questions are ... Is it worth anything? and do I have to do anything to it before I hang it on the wall of the shop?

 

I have a tire off Gordon's car from one year at Pocono. Mounted it on an old white spoke truck wheel sprayed black and then sat it on another wheel. Added a round piece of glass and had a cool table.

 

i'd put a piece of round glass on it and use it as a table , look nice in my tv room

 

Yea, I thought of that, I have an old late model rear tire with a cool steel wheel that I use as a table base.

 

Or I've seen a short base with casters and a drop in ice tub for the beer cooler.

 

I have a couple, off the bud car and off the crown car. I'll turn then into a table someday.
