  2. Hey, it may be ugly, but it has an excuse, it's the goofy one off of a backyard builder. What excuse does a Pontiac Aztek have?

A car like that is worth its weight in gold .Do the car ,There isn't many of them .I saw one once .I would change the top .It s so bizzare but its cool .Needs some wide whites and some two tone paint just to break it up a little .

I think with a little sawzall restyling, www tires, two tone paint and new interior she'll look mighty fine. Chop it down a touch in the doors, trim some height out of the hood and make the roof flow with the trunk.

  6. It might not be the best styled home built car but the fact that it is a home built car makes it unique. I'd fix it.

I think you may need some really cool Montana shop dogs to keep you company and go cruisin'with when you get the beast finished.:D

    Horrible - no potential whatsoever.
Ok, it´d take some doing, but easier than starting from scratch.

I'd just go ahead and use the akward, chiseled, european styling as an excuse to go with a German WWII Armored Staff Car theme. Change the wheels, paint it gloss black or olive drab.

Your suggestions are near perfect and I'd use
every one of them. But keeping to the same
theme of tasteful and understated elegance
that you mentioned, I think this "car' needs
a few more small extras, just to finish it off
and make it look finished and complete. For
the interior, to keep everything classy and
rich looking, maybe some imitation leopard
skin seat covers, with some shag carpet for
the interior door panels, headliner and floor.
You can't get much classier than fake leopard
skin and shag carpet you know! For the dash,
to add to the alreadyvery luxurious and
expensive look of the rest of the interior, some
stick-on mac-tac fake wood covering on plus
the epitome of lumpen elegance and class - a
chrome 'chain-link; steering wheel! On the
exterior, again to keep it simple and maintain
the classic look, a pair of feux dual sidemounts
cut into the front fenders, plus a radically
extended rear valance panel and bumper,
mounting dual continental kits as well! Finally,
while it might not fit in with the classic and
traditional' styling of the rest of the car, but
due to extreme high speeds that it's probably
capable of, for safety, I'd definitely add add a
large - the bigger the better too - 'ricer-style'
adjustable wing on the rear deck to keep the
car glued to road as high speeds. And for just
a bit of extra safety too, maybe a large third
brake-light, bolted to the top of the wing!.
    :eek::eek::D:D

As a bug eye Sprite owner, this is about the biggest insult I can possibly imagine. I have two words for the homebuilt : - C- 4

  22. Wow, I never noticed that extra roll in the doors before. Makes it look like a curvy chick wearing too-tight pants.

Now I'm starting to get worried! In the photoshopped
second pic, I think the car is actually starting to
    look pretty cool!

The only chance that thing has, is to removed the "upper cockpit" and use the bottom belt line as the actual belt line for the car. Then it would look like a sleek European sports car... after re-doing the front and back... and anything else you hadn't touched up until that point... lol

Good on you for posting that thing though. I don't feel as bad about my '58 Commander hardtop... lol...

Just paint it and drive it ,It is a one off .Paint something or the whole thing black ,It will look smaller ,I still say white walls and wires and anew top and classy european styling in the interior compartment , It grows on you ,
