Because your car has a MAZDA engine. Waaaaaaay off topic. This version may be doomed as well.

A lot of people here have cool cars or motorcycles that are OT. That's all fine and good, but generally (we) don't post about them. (we) just participate on the board which has rules. Shoot the shit. Connect with others. Learn or share info.

Some people only will participate in threads they posted about their own shit, other people don't interest them, so they check out if their threads get circular filed.

Your car is awesome. I find it way more interesting than 75% of cars here. I would love to know more about it, but the motor is way OT, so naturally it doesn't fit the parameters of this site. So just post about something else or don't start threads, instead participate in others' threads. You like old hot rods, then you belong here. Simple as that. As far as I know, owning a vehicle that fits the HAMB parameters isn't a prerequisite here, neither is having vast knowledge or experience, just following the rules and bring a good Sam.

I am still wanting to see a blow-up of a Schroeder steering box or the steering shaft and worm gear!
The picture below is not a Schroeder but can anyone confirm that's what a Schroeder looks like inside?[IMG]

Why the hell did you take the damned hood off? That is one of the best parts of the car. Now it is just another freaking T bucket and you are catching a ration of shit for not hiding and not mentioning the OT power plant.
    As seen in 2010

The only reason the hood is off is because the car has sat for so long I've been doing alot of maintenance, modification and tweeking!
    It's going back on!!

    Mr48chev,
It's a Great little car, but since it was never driven I have spent the last few weeks sorting it out!
That's why the hood is off, it looks so much sleeker with the hood!
    Thanks for the photos!

Built in Washington by Fosses Hot Rods and Cool Customs about 10 years ago. Mike Smith, Jim Ford and Butch Jobst are among the talented that built this car!

Looks like a car I recall from.......1969. (Bo Jones's R&C cover car, my ex wife saw that mag on the table and shrieked!)

Built a '27 Highboy roadster on genie Deuce rails. (got it running with a 2.0 liter BMW 4 banger, then in 4 months a '48 59L flathead! (Whew! ...but the 'banger was faster)
Kicked the ex wife out, a partner and I opened a shop...he bought the old Amaral '24 T bustle back track roadster, later owned by Chet Carter (Starter at Fremont for 40 years) My bud Gary bought it for $1800, running, 283 Chev/'39 box, V8 Quickie, and an original BELL dropped axle, ala 1954! (from Bell Auto Parts, Bell, CA.)
