I like the style of this project. I have built a couple of these style and have a 39 chevy pickup that I got off to a good start that is headed in this direction but had to put it on the back burner to do projects for everyone else.. Can't wait to get it back out and finish her up..
I like that truck! Perfect proprotions, the grill is exactly where it should be in relation the front axle, the chop looks "right", bed is right, it's just great. How 'bout painting IT Washington blue or really dark green rather than wait for your next build? Just a thought, you could start a whole new trend of painted, "finished" trucksters! Don't apologize for the engine choice either. Doing that truck for what you've invested shows you've got some chops as a builder. Great work. Brian
looks KL pat...proportion & lines are right on...can't wait to see the next one...keep up the good work
And I like how your grill is level with the cowl....thank god. That's a bad ass little truck man. I dig it.
I totally dig it. But, if the common person saw it, they would call it a rat rod. And if someone posted this pic and called it their rat rod, most people here would be in a tizzy. Not to take anything away from it because like I said, I totally dig it.
Your truck looks pretty cool. I like the proportions. Just as an FYI (as you say you are a youngster) before you get it ready for the road, take some time and do a search here for posts about mixing radials and bias ply tires. Read and make your own decision. That's all that needs to be said on that topic in this post. Cause for all I know they're just mockup tires.
