..i took the 47 coupe out on it's first long trip this weekend and it ran like a champ! with a lot of help and some long hours it was ready to go to the vintiques northwest nationals in yakima, wa. it was an amazing weekend with some great cars, great friends, and great times. so i just wanted to let everyone on the board who has contributed so much to the project that the car was coming along nicely. it's not there yet, but it will be soon. thanks again for everything-fleet
Congratulations, Emilio! I'm glad it all worked the way we planned it out. It took a long time, but I think it was worth it, what do you think? Seriously guys, thanks for all the support on the build with parts and advice, the car is really shaping up into something cool.
Toyota has a catchy jingle for times like this. Let's all sing it together! We gotta' switch out the Toyota part though..
oh, all the hard work was worth it by far. still a lot left though, but i'm ready. and yeah, thanks again to everyone who has helped so far, it really means a lot. p.s. anyone who hasn't should check out the run in yakima next year. first weekend in august. a good show with drags friday night, a sweet cruise/party saturday night, and a whole mess of other kick ass things.
