this is the best nite of my life!!! i decided to chop my 49 F-1 today at about 1 o'clock. i think it went really well considering its my first chop. i learned a lot from watching clark. thanks dude, sorry i couldnt wait. sorry about the pic quality, used a scanner.
Thats awesome, probably sitting in the garage not really getting anything done and then it hits you, "lets chop the truck, right now" "okay". Looks great!!! j
Cool! The chop works well with the sectioning you did on the hood...this truck is gonna ROCK!! Keep postin' those progress pics!!!!
Looks cool. Good move keepin that rear window @ stock dimensions. Now all you need to do is get that IRON CROSS tattooed on your ass & you'll be cruisin'. -r
Looks like you're on your way to a nice chopped ride! Interesting method with the back window leaving it stock size, I'd like to see how it looks with the bed on it. Keep up the good work!
Cool!! You did good. The back window looks cool. How much did you cut it? It looks right. You didn't make the mistake of chopping it too much. Clark PS......STAY GAY!!!

im glad everybody digs it. i took 3 out of the back and 3 3/4 out of the front. instead of sectioning the roof i leaned the A pillars back.
How does the transition from the cowl to the roof going up the a pillars look? Do you have a bump where you leaned them back or if not how did you get it smooth. My buddy wants to chop his wife's 48 doing the same way you did with the back window. He seen a 49-50 Ford down at the americruise that was chopped but it had this bump where the a pillar was leaned back. later plmczy
Nice work, it looks similar to my '51, which was my first chop as well. I also left the rear window stock. This brings back memories although I did it a little earlier in the day.
jeff I finally got to see the photos I have heard so much about (firewall was blocking your pic site from my other computer) chop looks awesome.. have you started finishing the door tops yet? I'll give you a call later sawzall
