Customs I chopped my fordor

What did those door hinges come from that you used on your suicide doors?

 

Love it...all hail fordors! That's what I would like to do to my '49...looking good, keep us posted!

 

The hinges came off a Jeep Grand Wagoneer (86?)

As of right now I have the body back off the frame, and on a rotisserie I borrowed from a friend. I've got the chassis in my shop and I am springing the rear end. I want to get the brakes done, the engine (now looking at dropping my 292 in there) mounted, with transmission, the driveshaft hooked up and the steering all set up before I mount the body back on permanently. If I get a chance I will post some progress pictures

 

Love your car! I'm seriously considering chopping my Fordor. Do you know anyone in the Spokane/CDA area that can do chops on shoeboxes?

 

Believe it or not my old man and I chopped this one at his place in Spokane. He was right there the whole time and helped with every step. I live in Portland and don't get up there anymore, but I videoed the whole thing as well.
