  2. No bead would make it an early hood (28-29).

WOW............thanks Michael for the quick response.

I guess my next question is:

¿ARE THE "EARLY" AND "LATE" MODEL A HOODS INTERCHANGEABLE??

    Thanks,
    Mike

Im with alchemy..Not a Ford car hood..

the louvers are an insert or at least look like they are (not the same type of louvers for a ford)..the hold downs are too high up on the side..and what ever that thing is on the inside isnt ford

    PICTURE WITH THE DIMENSIONS........................

THE AREA OF THE LOUVERS IS PRESSED and NOT WELDED IN.

  8. Can I be the 3rd to confirm that it's not a Ford hood?

  9. I 'm thinking a late 20's Dodge with a length like that most likely had a 6 cylinder under it . Rob.

No, they're not. The size and shape of both the firewalls and the grille shells differ between early and late. Moreover early hoods slope down to the radiator cap more sharply than the late ones.

    Thanks WOODY 29 DODGE................

As far as I can tell, it goes to a 1924 Dodge and maybe others in that era.

    Thanks to all.......................

    LG,

Not a 32 Stude hood!! They have 36 louvers on EACH side and will dwarf any Model A hood...Joe

  13. Hell, I have a '32 Rockne hood, I knew it wasn't that.

Also, that's a quote in my signature, not my name.
