I have to say I am stoked though,I was surfing the venerable ebay this afternoon for 59 chev stuff, and couldnt believe when a good looking elcamino showed up with 3 hours left and 0 bids at 1,000,so I figured an amount that I could convince my wife that I could surely scroung up if I sell some stuff quick,(just in case I should win)and let me tell ya,the last 3 minutes I was just waiting for a sniper, but they must have all been at work,or looking at camaros or chevelles,or god knows what, but I am now the proud owner of a 59 camino, which I have been wanting for about 6 years now,I just need to get it to mn.from south carolina,If anyone can help, even to chicago, let me know, otherwise I know I can find someway, but thought I'd try the hamb relay and see if theres any possibilities.I wonder where rashy was?I dont think its a bad deal,is it?this is what it looks like ,I hope I pasted the site right,if can someone help.thanks,patrick. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7904176294&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:US:6

The wheel grew up in an Impala. Its worth some green alone! The 59/60's are hard to move. They are too wide to fit on a u-haul tow dolly and most low-boys. I move them with a home made tow bar that attaches to the frame horns and bumper support.I flat tow them. Would be nice if it had an engine.Oh well. I will be going to the roadster show. I can send picks when I get back if you want. P/M me.Good luck

I see the bed is a little rough, just wondering if the bumper is hiding more stuff, the way he has it positioned for the pic?I was at a yard last weekend and bought two steering wheels,a blue and red one for ten bucks each, with no horn rings though, still cheap.I think the caminos still a good deal with the skirts, and bumper guard, cool accs.Anyone want to make a trip to the upper midwest, with a haul?My friend just sold a 33 sedan to a guy in Aikin, that needs to go back,if someones interested.Thanks.

Oh yeah, The Rash is gonna hurt himself. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to hear the wailing from down here in Houston. You might be able to sell it to him though. [IMG]

That's a cool deal. The way everybody loves the hell outta those Elkys I'm really surprised that you got it for that little. Excellent score.
