Hot Rods I drove the 5 window to work today

After trading the 4 door for the coupe and spending the last 7 weeks working on getting the seat moved and doing a little interior changing to get my big old Neanderthal body squeezed in and rebuilding the carburetor,changing the plugs & wires and just trying to make it as dependable as possible I was able to drive the coupe to work today,man did I get some thumbs up.

I am felling a little more confident with the car and getting use to the non synchronized transmission and I am like a kid at Christmas,I didn't know that driving a banger could be so much fun,I actually got the car up to 55 MPH and never pushed it any harder but I suspect it had a little more power.

Today is a RED LETTER DAY! HRP

edit....i suppose the real question should be "when do you have time for work?"

going to lunch taday ha ha Of course I be takin the bride along. Maybe a Sonic burger

 

I would take my Car for a Joy ride, but I would have to Dig about 2' of Snow
away from the Front of the Car, & a path of about 50x10' path to the Road but
instead I will Look at Your Car, Nice Ride but I think I like the 4 door Better

Only 2 things kept me from driving my 5 Window to work today.... 1.. I don't work, 2... I don't own a 5 Window. Other then that, I would have driven it to work

I use to drive mine to work and those were fun days. That's one thing I miss being retired......
