769 uses the "fish" oil in place of the typical linseed, rapeseed, castor and other plant based oils that alkyds are formed with. "Alkyd" is just the product of the reaction of triglycerides from base oils ( fats ) and certain acids under controlled conditions.

It does my heart good to know that I'm not the only one that reacts in such a calm rational manner!!!

I have rigid foam insulation on the back of my shop doors, there are several nuts and bolts stuck into it as well as many dents and gashes from random objects! as well as several hundred bb's from "unloading"...

My doctor told me I had to release my pent up stress...:D

Ya know, after looking through this entire thread after my last comment, I noticed that most of the complaints with Rustoleum are coming from the upper East coast, and most of the success stories are coming from out my way. I too have fairly reacently shot Rustoleum ( although it was appliance epoxy ) and had excellant results. I wonder if it does have something to do with a batch being frozen at one point as someone a couple of pages back suggested.

So, does the ridgid foam make it softer when ya hit the wall? My shop has random has mangled bits and pieces of what used to be servicable parts and tools as testimate to my vast stupidity and occasional violent streaks...

Have you guys that don't like the new spray nozzles contacted Rustoleum to give them your thoughts?
A company can't fix a problem unless they know about it.

Anytime I am unhappy with a service or product I send off an email.
A polite but stern explanation of my complaint. They often will respond.
Whenever I get coupons in the mail for free products, the Wife will ask me, "Did you send off another one of your emails?" :D

I've had very good results using the "Ajax Finger Painting" system. Be sure to use the catalyzed stuff though.
