    My soon-to-be in laws live in central Kansas. Right down the road from their place is a crappy old barn on a property that no one uses any more. In that barn is a 28-29 Model A flatbed truck that is complete, including the original wheels, tires, headlight glass, grille, engine, pigeon crap and pack rat nesting. The guy that owns the land won't sell it. The barn is about a minute and a half from collapsing on this truck, but he won't get rid of it. If only I had a roll back truck and a ninja costume......

    isn't that one of those air compressor conversions for A engines?

    That is an industrial version of the Model A engine and that thing you see is a governor. These were commonly used to power pull type grain combines (threshers) around here. May have had many other uses too. they usually have a Model B style distirbutor as well. They call them Diamond engines. Not sure why...
