No mater if you are swappin motors or wiring or just plug wires, this will work. all you need is a little phone cable, cut it 8" long. Ask any phone service truck or check a cable co or comerical electric service outlet . You ask most the service guys will be glad to give you a length of this for the asking keep it in your tool box.It's multi colored aprx. 1" and up around. You cut it in 4" long units and just match the colors. What ever you take apart you wrap a peace on both ends of what ever you take off . say a sending unit wrap the unit with one color wire then wrap the other close to the place you removed it . or even on the wires, like red to red and blue to blue , you'll get the idea. when you put them back together you just match up the color wires. nice thing about this is if you take it apart any one else can se just what needs to go in what place to get it back together. There are from 25 to 100 wires in the cables all of different colors. Much easyer than some assembly required.
Thanks for the tip, man- seems like the sort of Hindsight thing I would've figured out AFTER the fact... like using door skins if 80% of both doors needed deep filler. Thanks again!
