hey everyone, just too excited to not brag. bought my first truck today, a 1948 chevy pickup , with a 454 bbc. that makes it sound like its in a lot better shape than it is . its a total project truck. motor needs rebuilding or replacing with a tuned up SBC and I need to find a nice 5 speed tranny for it. it has a camaro clip and a 10 bolt posi in the back, have to hook up some air bags and 4 link to get it on the ground. its got a 3 window cab which I am going to chop down , gonna shave the doors, and suicide them. gonna smooth the hood and give it a tilt kit. getting a gloss red interior with red upholstery and a modern stereo and then some satin black on the outside. I've never owned an american vehicle before , only german and italian, so this should be fun. I'll post pics tomorrow wooooo! Ian
