So I wanted to get some more interest on my part with my 49 shoes box was getting tired with it's look.So I pulled the skirts off, and put my other pair of Olds flippers on with HotRod-A-Rama kicking off tomarrow night(er Friday ) .... pretty happy with no skirts for now

i will tell you my honest opinion. first of all - great car, it looks good either way. i think that with the stance the way it is, no skirts looks pretty damn good. i feel like it's begging though for the rear to go down another 2" and have skirts. that's my opinion.

also, what's up with that sedan in the backround...?

  8. I had that problem too, but then the missus took her skirt back and I had to wear normal pants.......
I say with skirts but hell it looks great both ways.

Personally I like the effect skirts have on cars that are chopped. It helps to add to the personality of the car. Your looks better without....JMO

    skirts for sure..

  13. Boils down to what YOU want. My opinion, never liked skirts on a car. Any car, just don't like the look. Car looks great without 'em.

Don't sell the skirts, run them on one year and off the next.

it kinda reminds me of a nash in the rear with the skirts and kinda looks more lowered hotrod without cause you can see the rear tire tucking under just switch it every 6 months and you wont have to choose

the nice thing about skirts is that you can run them, and take them off, thats the beauty of having skirts!

No skirts! They look like the color doesn't match. Are they off a little?

I like the skirts but don't all men. Without it looks just like another old 49 shoebox. But then again it only takes a minute to change.

    I like yours either way.

I run my '37 Chevy coupe with & without skirts. One year I run them and the next year I go skirtless. It's like having a new car every year!
