Im finally introducing myself now that i have things in order. my names daniel and i live in orlando florida. i know very little about mechanics and vehicles but i love to break things fix things take things apart and put things togeather. so i hope this goes well. i always wanted a classic pickup truck so i bought a big window longbed fleetside 1964 pickup in great condition with a 350 for 3500 bucks. i also bought a small window shortbed stepside 1964 pickup in very poor condition with a inline 6. it came with an extra bed(no fenders though) and a front suspension from a later model c10 for a disk brake conversion. that cost me 1000. i want to disasemble both trucks and swap the longbeds cab and motor to the shortbed frame. id like some thought on what i plan to do and what i should be warned of.
