I've read this board off and on for sometime and finally joined a while back and have just been learning the ropes and finally decided it was time to step up. I have loved anything that moves since I was a child and that was long ago. My first ride was a 56 four door chevy hardtop while in the air force on the boarder in Texas. Then a 210 six, which became a 409 dual quad, 396 and finally 427 during the "in the day time". After coming home to Chattanooga and getting a real job, I moved into a 67 Camero, six, then small block and finally full race with a big block. I still miss my 09. Over the years I moved to late model rides, but still loved the real rods. I am a rabid photographer and constantly take pictures of anything automotive. I started going to the big shows in 03 and have attended everyone I could. When Billet proof came to Florida, I had to go and have been to them all, even rain day. This year I hit a couple of 64 and prior drags and got the bug again, especially after billet proof in Lakeland last weekend. We went to the Ocala show where I met a cool HAMBster and a group of really great min bike guys. I have always taken a ton of show and drag photo's and as soon as I can figure out the post process, I will always share. I currently have a few years old SSR chevy, but after the billetproof drags I called a guy who had been wanting to buy it, made him a price and said come get it, I need the space for a real live hot rod. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration, too "as they say" get back to my roots.
