I thought that, too. Looks like a model built by a kid who likes to paint.

Does it even have Ardun HEADS...or are there just valvle covers? It just looks like a giant mockup...kinda like a model.

And how about that quick change? I think it's someone's fake barn find...ebay scam.

i was thinking the same thing, but when you look at the conduit, and junction box on the wall to the far right it looks like its to scale (full)

the wheels and frame look real when you zoom in, but the carb looks like it was sprayed silver with a rattle can, and sat on a wooden manifold painted flat black

my guess is its a full size car with a mocked up motor(one of those plastic jobs you buy to set up a frame) sounds like the guy is trying to plead ignorance,, and hopes to find a buyer of the same

as already posted, id talk to the guy on the phone, then fly out to check it out waaaay before sending any money

the , gotta have 5gs in 24hrs, and free shipping are the 2 clues that its a scam

  12. Well done model I'd say.

Lack of glass in the windshield is a bit of a tip-off.

Bricks in the wall look real.

Seems like a person who's good with photoshop could tell us if this pic is of a shopped model.

WB Kotzz is the name on the photo....

I'm not gonna buy it but if turns out to be the real deal, it's just that, a deal.

  15. It's full scale... or those are some tiny scaled down vice grips, that are holding the grille shell.

Is anyone close to that location? Maybe check it out in person and report back. I would like to myself but I'm tied up until the auction is over. Id be willing to kick in some gas money to anyone willing to go and take a look.

I say fake...it doesn't even cast a shadow. It appears that the car is floating. Look at the tires where they meet the "floor".

The subject on the ebay ad is Model A Model A...looks like tricky wording to say it is a Model.

One hell of a model though. And at a glance the wall in the background looks to be a tile wall which looks like a monster size wall if it was life size like that.

Looks like its all full scale, real stuff, but with the mock up (plastic) heads and valve covers as stated before.

Too much detail in the inside shot of the bed to be a model.

There doesn't look to be any sort of intake, just a block.

No wiring, except for the plug wires draped over the valve covers.

For a seller, even if you had NO clue what the parts are, it would only take a 5 minute internet search to realize the true value of real parts.

Wondering if anyone lives in the area can go check this thing out?

What is curious is that the floor looks covered with yellow overspray.

    Doesn't it?

i'll be really surprised if you get any response from him or he will be way to busy to show it. but thanks for checking, let ud know

  26. I agree it's full scale, the wall looks wierd though. Too much detail like motor mount bolts, spring perch bolt, top of king pin, and vise grips. I do think it's a scam with a shitty looking body with a junk flathead mocked up with fake Ardun stuff.

The scale is close to accurate based on the blocks and wall switch and conduit. The ardun heads were painted black from head to valve cover as is the quick change. Can't figure out why any one would paint the ardun head and the aluminum QC black. Never saw any one use the T pot carb off a 56 on any thing but ditch fill. First part on my new 56 ford I threw out after 50 miles or so, Lot of weirs shit in this picture and "Beware" is correct term to use. No way would I bid on this without a flight to where the car is . Another weird thing is he describes 34 column-39 trans ect but dummys up on the car and refers it to the OHV covers rather than "Ardun"Guy is a joke or plain stupid.

just noticed that too. overyspray is EVERYWHERE! on the walls and crossmembers too.

  30. First look, looks like plastic for sure, however the motor mounts, 2 holes on the frame under the light, headers on the block side, and acouple of other things make it look real, I've built bunches of plastic and those things are hard to fake, but I know there are some master modelers that amaze me sooo could go either way. I agree with everyone else that the whole thing looks "off" kinda like some of those UFO pic, where they look real but not quite...would like to know what comes of this, is a heck of a find if it's real...
