Bought my '49 Willlys Overland from the guy who bought it from the guy that fixed it. Had a stack of receipts, bosy work was done well, interior was great, ran good but rode like, well, a truck. Then I got to working on it to get rid of the salt damage, etc from several years in Ohio. Then I find the real reason it rode "like a truck." Front shackles were WELDED to the frame. Absolutly rigid. Rear springs were too long and shackles were wedged against the frame. No movement at all there either. I gotta assume different guy did body and suspension work
