I was out in the shop today cleaning a carb; it's not cold enough to turn on the heat out there yet, but damn your fingers get cold in that degreaser stuff!!! My wife put the Christmas turkey out in the garage to save room in the freezer in the house....the cold does have some advantages!!!

Sun started shining here today at least that helps! Snowed aboout seven inches last night /this morning. Came home from work just to find that my INT. H tractors starter shot ****s. If It wern't for bad luck i'd have no luck at all! Gloom, Dispair and agony on me. Oh well my drive is only 150 foot long, it won't melt off till spring!
Freezing rain and some sleet for most of the day here, about 12 degrees out side and thats where my 55 is since it wont fit in my 1 car garage
In the teens here in Okie land yesterday morning . And cold in the shop as usual so I bought a small propane radiant space heater - I know this won't keep the place toasty but at least ya can warm those hands! Gotta get the project on the streets by spring. Envy those with a well insulated and heated shop! Got a friend near here with radiant floor heat in his shop. I'm so envious! Maby just bite the bullit and rent a larger propane tank and get a monster shop heater and put in a lowered ceiling. I'M READY FOR SPRING NOW!
its around 28 today! i'm heading for palm dessert asap. got a place to hang and might just find something good there.
I feel your pain. Even though my garage is heated and insulated it is still cold and damp in cold weather. We had warm weather for a couple of days so i got back at the HE-EP but when the sun doesnt shine and it is cold I dont go there. Years ago it didnt bother me. Now it does. Don

I know I have a can of hairspray around here some where. All you guys from the 'hair band' thread, get out in your yard and start spraying, dammit!
Actually grew up way north of here in much colder weather and worked outside even in the winter, went hunting this weekend and spend the night outside, 22F does get a little chilly when in the woods with a sleeping bag but it is worth it. The cold doesn't bother me, it's the tools that can't handle it, my garage is just not setup to operate in this kind of weather.
