I made this to roll the large radius bends in the tubing for the roof, cowl, jams, etc. I made it from some throw-away stuff at work.

    Inkundone,
Nice project, i had a 34 Chevy nice body but the wood was shot. I hated to sell it but i didnt want to spend that much time on it to get it rolling. I do have a motor for you. its not rare but it is fresh rebuild 307 sbc, forged piston, solid cam, eagle rods, 461 heads w/ stainless valves, decked, bal, boed etc...ready to finish. ITS NOT A BACKYARD REBUILD. i had it built for the sedan, but sold the car. if interested send me a pm. Plenty of motor for your car.

    Oh yah nice bike!!

i havent even begun on the wood on the inside yet. ive been so busy working on my bike and tearing apart to get it ready for paint. never thought there woulda been this much body work involved in such a basic bike. the way i figure it, the hot rod wont be done for a year or so, but my bike i wanna be riding this summer. as soon as i start on the body i'll start posting pics. my frame im taking hopefully this week/next week to the guy thats helping me build it. progress is just around the corner now that wisconsins fucking snow season appears to finally be over.

and no jeff you cant have anything off the motor yet till i figure out what i need. i'm still looking for 4 weber 48 ida carbs for my manifold for the motor. all i seem to find is used carbs going for 500 a piece. *sigh*

  7. U can get a wood get for it athttp://www.chevywood.com/ or u can replace with 1''X1" steel tube and seeing u know your way around welding I suggest tubing.
I used a CE universal rear in my 31 chevy sedan with a MII front end and it is sitting pretty good now

It's a 3 wheeled roller. The outer two wheels are fixed and free spinning on bearings (they are actually flat belt idler pulleys). The center wheel is attached to a shaft with a crank. This center wheel can move up and down by turning the threaded rod on the top. I put the sq tube in it, crank down on the center wheel, and then roll the tube back and forth with the crank. As I go I keep turning the wheel down lower (as the tube bends).
