    I have a 1950 Chevy fleetline Deluxe with a 216 engine in it. It also has a 3-speed ****** in it. Do I need to change the ****** ,also to put the 235 in it. Thanks, oldie62

    The link Erics53 posted pretty well walks you though it including dealing with the too long water pump. That swap has been done thousands of times over the years and works well. In the 60's I saw guys do it in a day and drive the car out cruising that night.
