I have a few odd questions

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fatty, Oct 19, 2011.

  1. Anybody on here ever dig a project body out of the ground? If so is there a trick to the trade so to speak or is it simply grab a shovel and get to work? Are Model A bodies salvageable after being buried for a long time?

  2. Yes, no and yes.

It will depend on what is left. Different soils and climates have different effects on deterioration.

The best thing is to dug an inspection hole several places around the car and see what is left.

lift it first to see if it is just sitting there as all below soil line may be eroded, but all panels available for Model A. Good Luck!

  6. Thank you for the input! I will post pics once I get started.
