I have a new baby girl but she needs your prayers

My prayers are sent out to you and your baby girl.

 

Its been a few days and we finally have some more info.

Two weeks.

Thats how long its going to be until my girl comes home. Seems like forever...

But, two weeks is a really good number when its put in perspective. The doctors keep saying how amazing Juli is doing. they put it in perspective for us today. There are 4 more girls with the same condition as Juli... she is the youngest and has made the most progress. The nurse practicioner commented that there is a girl who is 40 days old and she is just starting part of the treatment that Juli just finished.

When she said that it made the two weeks seem alot better. Two weeks could really be two months if she wasn't doing this well.

So we are sad its going to be so much longer... but grateful that she is doing so well.

This means that her older sister Arianna gets to see her in the hospital. She is the only member of the family yet to see her and Ari is crushed that its been 2 weeks and she still hasn't seen her baby sister. But Saturday is their first meeting and I'm bringing the camera.

So I'm happy and sad at the same time. I know she is making tremendous strides to be where she is... but I'm so tired and burned out...

I just want my baby home.

 

And home she will be. Still sending prayers to you and your family.Stay strong, she'll be with you in no time

I know this sounds crass, but when I'm trying to get my mind off of stuff like this, I work on my car.......good therapy. I think that's why GOD invented hotrods

I was born with hirschprung's in 1978 . I too was in the hospital for 3 months , and from my parents stories they were worried as shit .
I grew up a fairly normal kid, even did 5 yrs in the military . i have a pretty gnarly scar from the colostomy and my farts are usually pretty bad ( i blame the short intestines not the whisky or beer )
so keep your head up she'll be fine .... 30yrs i'm sure everything they do is a 100 times better
oh yeah
I've seen pics of the pinetree car air freshener hanging in my crib so you might want to stock up

I have a boy that at one month was diagnosed with leukemia. We didn't have much hope, but with a stem cell transplant(new then) he is with us and very well. He is 12 years old now and a blessing to anyone who knows him. There is always hope. Use these bad expeariences to bring your familly closer together and always look for ways to make bonds stronger. I look back 12 years later and I see a struggle, but wow did I find out alot of people really do care. Your familly is in my prayers. These babies are stronger then we think too.

News i like to here,She is as pretty as they get.Glad to see the road to recovery will be a short one and all will be ok.The prayers wont stop here.

I helped to deliver a baby girl just last night at work, what an experience! It was great to see the parents joy and pride in their new little girl, gives me an insight that I never had before.
I hope all goes well for yours and this is the only hiccup in a fabulous life for her.

Prayers sent from Texas, I just had a baby Grand-Daughter, we had a little scare, but she doing great...I know all will be Ok.....

 

she's on the prayer list now bub, she don't come off it either till all is right. hang in there , she's got a real good dad.

 

I am a father of 3 with one on the way, and I couldnt Imagine how worried I would be to have that much trouble so early in her life. Im glad to hear she's doing better. I will still call my mom and tell her to put your family on her worldwide prayer chain.

 

I just sent a prayer for her good recovery.
