Yeah still I'm interested. I wouldn't be able to get it for bit. either during the December semster break or spring break, if that would be cool with you.

Any of my local HAMB homies interested in giving me a hand with this thing?

  6. I have an idea... why don't a group of guys get together at Zeke's place and help each other build the thing to race at next years HAMB Drags? Swap meet and junk yard parts... you should be able to build a really cool, cheap drag car with the right parts scrounging...

I'd rather take my time and do it right, rather than throw something together for the drags then have to tear it back apart again. I think I'll follow AV8's advice on this if I end up with it.My budget wouldn't allow for it to be ready for next years drags anyway.

  11. Zeke! Where did you get a pic of the Bewitched car?? It is sponsored by Quality Auto which was here in Livermore... the guys last name was Cerutti... I think he was one of th first guys to drive Rich Quasco's Pure Hell (before it was painted) and the later had a fuel altered of his own... which incidentally, look A LOT like Pure Hell!

Damn you, why do you have to be a great guy but live so far away!!!! I'm 19 and I reaaallly need a g***er(or a rail), and I have a 283 that would fit perfectly between those rails, aaahhhh. Actually I would probably put a Toronado power train in the rear ala. Chevado and have some fun.

What we may do is kinda have the HAMB g***er build crew to help Zeke get started. Pick a weekend and we'll caravan up and start helping ya build on it.....just to get it to a roller stage.

That's a great thing you're doing. Too bad you said young. '56 is my favorite tri-five chev, and I'm still missing my '56 sedan delivery that I had to sell years ago. I even have a nailhead and an Econoline straight axle to glue into it.
