Oops!"Mallory YL" not "YH"!

I just re-read my original post and realized I had typed "Mallory YH". My bad! The proper model name for the Mallory distributor you need is a "YL" .If you've seen a a pic though, you already know what the distributor that you need looks like., but having the proper model name should help your search..

well is it the distributor cap that hits or is it the housing?
I thought we were talking about the housing but now that everyone is talking about different caps, is the cap the problem?

A crab cap wont fix anything if its the housing that is causing the problem.
