ok heres the score i just got. my bro inlaw`s grandparents property just got bought out by a real estate company to build a subdivision on thier farm. They left a bunch of stuff there and we went to pick some stuff we wanted from there. on the way in I spot a sweet rusty old dodge thats in the weeds, and my bro inlaw said yea it`s his uncle`s and he`s just gonna leave it there. so I just scored my first old car for the best price ever, FREE!!! I lifted the hood and I know it has a near mint poly hemi in it. What sizes did the coronet have? what years did they make the coronet in the 1950`s? Can it be converted to a full hemi? Is it a 6 or a 12 volt ignition? One last thing i believe it has a holley 94 carb on it. Man I`m pumped I scored all kinds of tools and a 1000 dollar drill press for free and my first old car. I`ll post pics of it this week. It`s a 4 door if that helps id it.
dude, a pic would help, maybe do a search on google images for dodge coronet, then pic one and say hey it looks like this one.
http://www.carnut.com/cgi-bin/_mopar.pl?/show/hay98/hay074.jpg Ok i think it looks like this. maybe a year older idk. i`m guessing maybe a 58 i cant remember exactly. It doesnt need much just tires, fluids, a battery and lights checked through has a title and keys. It had a crazy looking rear end with fins like 10 inches from the end of the quarter panel with 3 tail light on each side.
That pic is a 56 .Came with a 270 poly. The 55 didn't have the fins. They're a great car and can really move. The 56 was 12 volt. If its a tudor you can send it my way.
